What do our awards & accreditations mean to you when considering a swimming pool company to design and build your backyard pool? They mean that Cody Pools has been recognized on various levels, by different organizations for excellence in design, construction and business ethics. In fact, since 2001, Cody Pools has won 40+ design and business awards. That matters a great deal to homeowners who want a trusted and experienced swimming pool builder. If you're considering a pool for your backyard, we feel making you aware of our accomplishments at the very least lets you know of our committment to building truly beautiful pools and conducting a level of business above our competition. Accreditations

APSP Member & Certified Building Professional
All members of the Association of Pool and Spa Professions agree to adhere and comply with certain ethical principles and policies established by the association. Cody Pools also has more APSP Certified Building Professionals than any other pool company in Texas.

IPPSA – Water Chemistry
Trained in water chemistry, properties of water, pool types, volume calculations, standards and measurement, types of chlorine, bromine and ozone, water testing and chemical adjustments

IPPSA – Equipment
Trained on equipment and covers: hydraulics, pumps and motors, filters, skimmers, fittings and valves, heaters, heat pumps and solar, plus automatic pool cleaners

CPO Certified
The CPO certification is the most recognized pool and spa certification in the United States. It is required by many states, counties, and cities throughout the country. The course includes a detailed 16 hour class and examination to prove that person has a thorough understanding of water chemistry as well as pool and spa operaation.

CST – Certified Service Technician
This certification requires 1-2 years of experience in the pool service and repair industry. This 3.5 day course and exam requires the ability to apply your technical knowledge to situations encountered in the field. As such, this program demands a level of technical knowledge that only comes with on-the-job experience.

Pentair Training
In-depth knowledge for specifying, installing, troubleshooting and servicing today’s most advanced pool equipment. Training includes: Basic hydraulics and equipment sizing, automation, variable frequency drive pumps, heater installation and repair, electrical theory, color LED and halogen lighting safety and installation, automatic chlorine generation, heat pump installation and operation.

The APSP Awards for Design Excellence are handed out annually by the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals Organization.
