How Much Does a Pool Cost?
That is an excellent question. They can range from $36,000 on up. This
is based on the type we build - in-ground, gunite pools. Above ground
pools and "vinyl lined" pools can be less expensive, but are
far less durable and are much more susceptible to post construction
problems. We've built a large number of affordable and beautiful pools
that range from simple to sophisticated in design that fit a variety
of budgets and lifestyles. Ultimately the guiding factors that determine
a pools cost are it's size, features, terrain of your lot, plat survey,
equipment and materials. An accurate estimate is obtained when
one of our design professionals provide you with a FREE consultation
with you at your home, determine your design preferences and
combine that with your lots terrain and size. It is nearly impossible
to give you an accurate quote via email without knowing more about your
property's characteristics. You may be able to get an email estimate
from other pools companies, but likely it won't factor everything accurately
as there is no real consultation time with you to discuss everything
you desire. We pride ourselves on NOT BEING a hard sell pool
builder. We take the time to listen to you, create the design,
present it with the costs and features, make adjustments as necessary
and let you choose who you think should be your pool builder. We feel
confident that our reptutation and personal service will impact your
decision to choose Cody Pools.
What Kind of Pool is Right for Me?
Your overall lot size will determine what kind/size of pool is appropriate
for you and your family, but in terms of shape, style, etc...It really
depends on how you plan to use your pool. If exercise is most important,
then perhaps a pool that facilitates swimming laps is appropriate. If
you desire a pool that reflects a backyard oasis that is the perfect
setting for entertaining, relaxing and overall enjoyment then a Freeform
design is probably most suited. We invite you to visit our "Design
Gallery" to view and research a variety of pool designs that fit
a multitude of lifestyles and needs. Our design professionals can then
assist you in determining the pool shape and design that works best
for you.

Can I use my pool area year round?
Absolutely! You see, we're not only pool builders, but we're also pool
owners, and like a number of our customers, we know that a quality pool
can be used and enjoyed well beyond the "pool season". In
fact, several of our customers have sent us "Hook 'Em Horns"
letters thanking us for having their poolscape ready for the college
football season. They've hosted Longhorn football game parties around
their pool while "pool-gating" and taking full advantage of
all their backyard showcase has to offer. They know that warm weather
here in Texas can last all the way through October into November and
often be back as early as February. They also know that regardless whether
it's spring, summer, fall or winter, a beautiful pool area can be the
centerpiece for a wealth of great and long lasting memories of times
spent with friends and family that will last for years to come. Simply
put, with Cody Pools, no matter the time of year, you always get more
than a beautiful and enduring quality pool......you get a backyard oasis
that you can enjoy year round.
Summer's Over, Shouldn't I Just
Wait Until Spring to Build My New Pool??
You could wait, but actually the period of November through February
is ideal to start planning and building your pool. Many people choose
to wait until Spring/Summer to build their pool and thus it might take
longer as demands increase. It's similar to the concept of going to
the Department of Motor Vehicles in the middle of the day. You have
long lines and have to wait a little longer than if you went at some
other time. By planning ahead with your decision to build a new pool
you can ensure that your backyard oasis will be ready to use the first
warm days of Spring.
Why Should I Choose Cody Pools?
The decision to include a pool in your lifestyle is certainly one not
to be taken lightly. It is something that you will undoubtedly enjoy
for many years to come. That's why it's important to select a pool builder
who can deliver on a hassle-free pool experience. Below are just a few
of the key points that have earned us our solid reputation as an experienced
and trusted pool builder.
- We have proudly been in business since 1994 and built over 5,000 pools as a pool builder serving the Greater Austin, Houston, San Antonio and Dallas & Ft. Worth Areas in Texas.
- We are a financially solid company. Many pool companies operate from pool to pool and out of their house or have operated under several company names as to hide any negative information with the BBB. They may be able to build your pool, but will they be there to stand behind their work. (IMPORTANT! Make sure they have a physical street/office address that you can visit - if not, you could be inviting trouble in terms of reconciling problems you may have with their construction quality and warranty)
- We're an award winning pool company in both design and constuction quality as well as business conduct. This is no small feat and we are proud of this recognition as it is definitely reflective of our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
- Our Design & Construction staff have a combined 100+ years in both commercial and residential pool building.
- We specialize in custom pools, not cookie-cutter designs, that are affordable and beautiful and often feature waterfalls, custom stone materials, unique finishes and even summer kitchens
What Do Your Awards & Accreditations
Really Mean to Me?
Our recognition within the industry and business community
are prime examples of our core values. Awards in design and construction
are symbolic of the rigorous standards we apply to every pool we build
so that not only are they beautiful, but are flawlessly constructed.
Our business recognitions speak to our continued growth that simply
could not happen without our utmost focus on superior customer satisfaction.
This approach has led to a year over year increase in customer referrals
to family and friends. Click here to read

I’m building a new home. If I’m
considering a new pool, what are the benefits of proceeding now instead
of waiting until completion of my new home?
Building your new pool or spa during the construction of your new home
has many substantial benefits. The most important is cost savings. By
adding your pool to your homes first mortgage, you will lower it’s
financing costs.
In addition, you will also avoid the rare inconveniences that can be
associated with the construction of a custom built pool. If you're not
yet living there full time, the normal construction traffic will be
less noticeable and will seamlessly become part of your new home construction
as a whole.
As a final point, you will be better able to incorporate the pool design
and any other backyard amenities with your home design. One of our design
consultants will be able to work with your homebuilder to ensure that
your backyard oasis blends in harmoniously with your new dream home.
Do You Offer Financing?
We currently work with select local lenders who can assist you with
your financing needs. Your Cody Pools Design Consultant can help you
with the process.
