I just recently completed a Cody Pool installation and I wanted to email you on my overall experience with your company. I had heard from friends and co-workers that a pool installation can be a nightmare and this kept me from pulling the trigger for almost a year. We recently had a pool installed by Cody, and I could not be happier. During the construction process, we hit several obstacles that were beyond Cody's or our control, and what impressed us most is how smoothly the Cody staff was able to handle them. For example, our pool has a heater that required our gas meter to be upgraded. When we called the gas company, they told us they were out of meters and that we'd have to be on a waiting list with no ETA. Our Cody superintendent placed one call to our gas company, and two days later we had our meter. No project the scale of a pool construction goes smoothly every time, and you want a company that's prepared to handle this. You might be able to find another company to build you a quality pool. If you're really lucky, you might be able to find a company that will be as up-front as Cody and that will adhere to their promises and pricing as closely as Cody does. What really sets Cody apart is their extreme professionalism, and how smooth and effortless they make the process seem to the customer (us). When you're investing this much in a construction project, you want to be sure that it will be done well, with minimal worries, and that at the end you'll have no regrets. I can't recommend any company higher than Cody for this experience

Mr. Church,
I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you, but Cindy and I want to give you some feedback on your company and employees, as well as our personal experience with Cody Pools.

First of all, our plan to build a pool began over 2 years ago. We had a dream of building a pool and pool house in 2008. Matt Trissel came to our house and spent several hours with us, listening to our loose idea of the pool we had in mind. He went outside in the 100 degree heat, and spent time measuring, checking elevations/slope, and getting the layout of the house. He also reviewed our plans for the pool house. He came back with a pool design and a detailed estimate that was exactly what we wanted. His computer generated schematic was uncanny in it's accuracy, even though construction on the pool house had not even started. Unfortunately costs were prohibitive for us at that time, so we had to postpone building for one full year. When we told Matt we couldn't build yet, he did not treat us like we had wasted his time or like we were losers for backing out. He told us to call him when we were ready, and said he looked forward to hearing from us. The way Matt treated us made us feel good about Cody Pools, and made us want to come back to Cody once our finances were set. This fact is key... we could have easily switched companies at that point, but wanted to work with a professional like Matt. I kept Matt's schematic as the screen-saver on my computer over the next year to "keep the dream alive."

We called Matt again a year later, and he not only remembered us, but had kept our pool design and all of our measurements. Matt is the greatest guy. He always treated us like we were his only customers. He came to our house several times to make sure everything was perfect. He offered us advice on things we would have never thought of, and always maintained a positive "can do" attitude, even though some our requests were out of the ordinary. I just wanted to take a moment to send you this email of appreciation. I am not sure where to begin, so I guess I will begin by saying that David and I absolutely love our pool, it's absolutely unbelievable, more pool than we ever imagined, more beautiful than words can describe! We almost drag people off the street to show off our pool, instead we decided to stop that and just have an open house and pass out fliers and Cody Pool business cards!

We’d like to thank Bob Hastings, Randy Bolding and Jason for working with us. Bob saw us through the design and selection phase. We especially appreciate his advice and guidance as we questioned him about options and the advantages/disadvantages of certain features. He was receptive to our changes and timely in completing the design and contract. Bob was our first contact with Cody Pools and we immediately felt we were dealing with integrity.

We’d also like to thank Randy. Before the build process started, he took us through a detailed checklist of what to expect and how it would be handled and what his role was. This process of sitting with your customers to explain the roles, responsibilities, who to contact, as well as the expected progression of work and the timeline is outstanding. We had few questions throughout the process and when we did, our calls were returned quickly and professionally.

I just recently had my pool built by Cody Pools and wanted to let you know about the experience I had. I was originally skeptical of all pool builders and was unsure of who to choose to be my pool builder. After much research on the internet and by word of mouth, I decided that Cody Pools was right for me. There are a lot of people out there who have a lot of negative things to say about pool builders in general. Not me, not now.

Dane was my designer and he was welcoming and not at all pushy. He worked with me on all my changes and even took the time out on several occasions to call me and introduce my to new ideas that he thought I would be interested in. In addition, he made several after hours visits for my convenience to discuss things. He was there for me during the whole process.

I was fortunate enough to have Shawn "the bulldog" as my superintendant. This guy looked out for my best interest during every facet of construction. He would call me periodically to see if I had any questions. Also, he followed through on everything he told me from the beginning. In other words, he set my expectations, then exceeded them.
Finally, Roger Paul did my start up and my follow up. This guy knows his stuff. He took his time and explained everything I needed to know in Lehman's terms. Roger made sure that I had his cell number and told me to call him at any time if I had any questions regarding the pool whatsoever. If there is ever an opportunity for this guy to "move up" in the company, I would suggest giving him the opportunity.

These three members of the Cody Pools team are a great asset to the company. I will recommend your company to others. Thanks for the great experience and the beautiful pool. My family and I are going really enjoy it. .

I just wanted to thank you for designing my beautiful pool! It is all done and we have been enjoying it for 2 weeks now! I was very impressed with the whole project, from the design to the excavation and final finish out. Cody is a fantastic company, I would highly recommend Cody Pools to anyone looking to put in a pool. The whole installation process went smoothly and quickly, I can't believe it took less than a month! I am really happy with the tile, flagstone and deck color choices we made, the pool looks great! I am having landscaping installed this week, so the back yard will look spectacular next week! I am having a grand opening pool party on Sunday May 30. "Dear Mr. Church, I am writing to tell you how much we love our pool! We began looking into a pool in the late April, early May timeframe. Out of everyone we talked to (other pool companies), I was most impressed with the knowledge and the time that was taken with me by your designer Steve Henderson. He made it very easy to pick Cody Pools as our builder. I felt like he really understood the complexities of our yard. He was also very helpful to me in helping me pick out colors for tiles, coping, retaining walls, etc. As the actual building process began, of course the rains began as well. Ensimo was our excavator and stayed here late into the evening hours. He hit rock within an inch, and hit blue rock at about 7 feet. Plus my yard drops about a story and a half from the street level to the level of the pool, so each bobcat trip was a tricky one. I know he had bad dreams about our yard at night. Rocky Bannaugh was our superintendent. He was an absolute joy to work with. He did a good job of keeping me informed of what was happening next, and what I needed to be doing.
Everyone I dealt with was a delight to work with. I never worried about leaving my house or my two daughters. That says a lot!!!
